With its rich history, booming businesses, and growing neighbourhoods, the Town of Tecumseh is vibrant with possibility. These “guided tours” are designed to take you wandering through new businesses, or ones that you may have forgotten about! Whether you’re a resident or visitor, we hope to keep you falling in love with the small-town charm of this little nook of Windsor-Essex.
This week’s guided tour will take you through a few of the area’s newest local spots. We’ll definitely spark your appetite with this one, so get ready to indulge!
A Hearty Place to Hibernate
Travellers can get their UK fix without having to leave the country – Sir Richard’s Wine & Ale House brings the European flair right to Tecumseh, and these hearty flavours will transport you right to the cobblestone side streets of England.
Walking into this British-style pub, you’ll instantly feel the English influence, not only in the physical design but in each menu item. Indulge in the British staples like bangers and mash, traditional shepherd’s pie, steak and ale pie, and a thick roast beef sandwich wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding wrap called the British burrito.
Along with the authentic food, their live music will further immerse you into the old English pub vibe, and soon you’ll even be able to sip on wines and ales made in house that will leave a European taste on your palette for days to come.
If you’re looking for a comfy place to hibernate for the winter, Sir Richard’s is sure to keep you warm. You’ll come as strangers and leave as friends!

Crunchy & Craveable
Taco Bell has opened their doors to the Town of Tecumseh and are serving up the most craveable Mexican-inspired food to its residents. Located in the beautiful and newly built plaza by Food Basics, this franchise delivers all of the fan-favourites plus some limited-time offerings.
Try their newest foodie-worthy innovation, the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa, which features a six-month aged sharp cheddar cheese toasted onto the iconic chalupa shell. The cheese creates a melted blanket of flavour, is matched with the crunch of the shell, and you can dress it to the nines with all of your classic fixings.
Not to worry, you’ll still be able to find all of Taco Bell’s well-known specialties here like the exclusive Doritos® Locos Tacos and Fries Supreme, and our veggie friends can even peruse through their vegetarian-friendly menu!
Taco Bell is excited to serve the Tecumseh area through their drive-thru, take out, and now through Uber Eats. So, I guess we know what’s for lunch today!
