Whether you’re a resident or visitor, we hope to keep you falling in love with the small-town charm of this little nook of Windsor-Essex.
This week’s guided tour will take you through a few of the area’s newest local spots. We’ll definitely spark your appetite with this one, so get ready to indulge!
Sir Richard’s Wine & Ale House
A Hearty Place to Hibernate
Travellers can get their UK fix without having to leave the country – Sir Richard’s Wine & Ale House brings the European flair right to Tecumseh, and these hearty flavours will transport you right to the cobblestone side streets of England.
Walking into this British-style pub, you’ll instantly feel the English influence, not only in the physical design but in each menu item. Indulge in the British staples like bangers and mash, traditional shepherd’s pie, steak and ale pie, and a thick roast beef sandwich wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding wrap called the British burrito.

Along with the authentic food, their live music will further immerse you into the old English pub vibe, and soon you’ll even be able to sip on wines and ales made in house that will leave a European taste on your palette for days to come.
If you’re looking for a comfy place to hibernate for the winter, Sir Richard’s is sure to keep you warm. You’ll come as strangers and leave as friends!
