Oxford Learning (Tecumseh, ON)
Less Stress, More Time Spent Together
Parents, Oxford Learning can take the stress off your shoulders by working with your children in helping them catch up, keep up, and get ahead with their schoolwork. Even in the time of COVID, your child will receive all of the same interactive coaching techniques, which will allow you to spend more quality time with your family.

A better education for your children is the best way to deal with the uncertain future that we’re all facing. Oxford’s programs focus on your child and their individual needs by helping them develop cognitive (learning) skills as well as academic skills. Students of Oxford develop permanent cures rather than “just getting through” this year’s crop of difficulties.
Their approach leads students to develop an active mind, which encourages better concentration, organization, problem solving, and attention skills. Through Oxford’s proprietary curriculum, students learn invaluable study skills that they will use throughout their academic years and well into their careers. Their program leads not only to increased grades, but also an increase in self-confidence and self-esteem.
Whether you’re experiencing their online or in centre classes (when not in lockdown), “Big Dreams begin with better grades at Oxford Learning Tecumseh!”

Pat & Hanks Fish & Chips
Comfort Food for a Comfort Mood
Pat & Hanks has been feeding our families since 1955 – and they’re not ready to stop yet. They’ve stood the test of time and there’s a reason they’re still a Windsor-Essex County staple.

One whiff of their freshly made seafood and diner classics will tug at both your belly and heart. That’s because Pat & Hanks goes beyond food; they’re serving you the comfort of knowing where your next meal is coming from. Their mission from the very beginning has been to help the community put good food on the table for their families.
While we can’t go inside yet, that same delicious taste can come home with us. Their Tuesday specials make “Takeout Tuesday” accessible for everyone and give us the choice between six rotating meal options, including halibut, chicken fingers, and even shrimp dishes for just $10.95.
Grab a gift card for later, because once you give Pat & Hanks a try – one little nibble and you’ll be hooked!

Sonata Piano Studio
For the Love of Music
Sonata Piano Studio has been part of the Tecumseh family for nine years and brings together a musical community for students of all ages.
They’ve finally found the perfect place to call home and expand their studio in a way that feels as professional as a University music room, with the warmth and cozy feel of your own living room. This studio was designed specifically by Miss Alyssa, who wanted to create an inspiring, innovative, and professional instructing environment to foster musical minds.

Sonata Piano Studio offers piano, guitar, voice, ukulele lessons and more in the Tecumseh area for all ages and levels by qualified and friendly instructors. Photo courtesy of Sonata Piano Studio.
The studio is home to three Grand Pianos, two Yamaha Upright Pianos, a studio for voice, and a studio for guitar and ukulele, while Sonata’s main area holds space for small recitals, group classes, workshops, masterclasses and more! This area is where the magic happens, and where the Sonata team aims to see their students feel the most inspired through attending and participating in live performances!
Once it’s safe to host group classes, Sonata will be offering “Early Childhood Music” classes (18 months to 4 years) as well as “Music for Baby & Me” classes (0-18 months) because it’s never too early to introduce children to the wonders of music!
Miss Alyssa and her team’s ultimate goal is to create a musical community for her teachers and students to bond, be encouraged, and share in their love of music.
