Tecumseh Corn Festival

The Tecumseh Corn Festival invites you to delight in the delicious foods; experience exciting carnival rides, and enjoy amazing live entertainment at one of Ontario’s Top Food Festivals. The Corn Fest takes place August 23 to 25, 2019 at Lacasse Park.

Enjoy corn on the cob, live music, corn on the cob eating contest, corn tossing contest, corn peeling contest, carnival rides, the biggest small town parade, a classic car show, the Miss Tecumseh pageant, seniors bingo, and more.

Friday, August 23, 2019 – “Senior’s Day”

12:00 PM – Midway opens
12:00 PM – Free corn for seniors, compliments of the Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach (till 5 PM)
12:00 PM – Pathway to Potential’s Free children’s interactive activities including bouncy castle, mini golf, lawn games and corn maze (till 6 PM)
12:00 PM – Junkestra (till 6 PM)
12:00 PM – Disc Golf Demonstrations (till 6 PM)
12:30 PM – Elvis Tribute Artist, Norm Ackland Jr performing on the Tent Stage, presented by the Tecumseh BIA
1:00 PM – Free swimming at the Tecumseh Leisure Pool (till 4 PM), presented by Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island
1:30 PM – Bingo in the tent near the ball diamond, presented by Chartwell St. Clair Beach Retirement Residence
2:30 PM – Motor City Manouche performing on the Tent Stage
4:30 PM – Midlife Jazz performing on the Tent Stage
5:00 PM – Corn Eating Contest near the corn booth
6:00 PM – Max Marshall performing on the Bonduelle Stage
7:15 PM – Festival Welcoming Event on the Bonduelle Stage
7:30 PM – Christee Palace performing on the Bonduelle Stage, presented by AM800
9:00 PM – Jody Raffoul performing on the Bonduelle Stage, presented by Vespa Vision Centre
11:00 PM – Park closes

Saturday, August 24, 2019 – “Family Day”

11:00 AM – Largest Small Town Parade
12:00 PM – Midway opens
12:00 PM – Pathway to Potential’s Free children’s interactive activities including bouncy castle, mini golf, lawn games and corn maze (till 6 PM)
12:00 PM – Junkestra (till 6 PM)
1:00 PM – FIRST Robotics demonstrations (till 4 PM)
1:00 PM – Free swimming at the Tecumseh Leisure Pool (till 4 PM), presented by Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island
1:30 PM – Free Pony Rides (till 4:30 PM), presented by Essex Power Corporation
1:30 PM – Jangles the Clown (till 5:00 PM) walk-about entertainment
2:30 PM – Fred Penner performing on the Bonduelle Stage, presented by Bonduelle Tecumseh
4:00 PM – Colouring Contest in the entertainment tent
4:30 PM – Border City Barkers Dog Agility Show in front of the Bonduelle Stage, presented by Essex Power Corporation
5:00 PM – Corn Eating Contest near the corn booth
5:00 PM – Bishop Boys performing on the Bonduelle Stage
7:00 PM – Phil Kane Trio with Guests performing on the Bonduelle Stage, presented by Blackburn Radio

Sunday, August 25, 2019 – “Classic Cars & Golden Oldies Day”

12:00 PM – Midway opens
12:00 PM – Pathway to Potential’s Free children’s interactive activities including bouncy castle, mini golf, lawn games and corn maze (till 6 PM)
12:00 PM – Junkestra (till 6 PM)
12:00 PM – Cream of the Crop Invitational Car Show (till 4 PM), presented by Muscle Cars and Classics
12:00 PM – Music from the 50’s, 60’s and Motown performing on the Bonduelle Stage
12:00 PM – Pickleball demonstrations (till 2 PM)
1:00 PM – Free swimming at the Tecumseh Leisure Pool (till 4 PM), presented by Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island
1:00 PM – Jangles the Clown (till 5 PM) walk-about entertainment
3:00 PM – Border City Barkers Dog Agility Show in front of the Bonduelle Stage
4:00 PM – Miss Tecumseh Pageant on the Bonduelle Stage, presented by the WFCU Credit Union
7:00 PM – Park closes

$5.00 Daily general park admission

Free admission for Seniors on Friday for “Senior’s Day” all day
Children 12 & under are FREE all weekend

Festival admission gate locations are:

Gate 1 – Lacasse Boulevard North (Lacasse / Meander)
Gate 2 – Kimberly Crescent Walkway
Gate 3 – Michael Drive Walkway
Gate 4 – Brenda Crescent Walkway
Gate 5 – Lacasse Boulevard South (Lacasse / Clapp)
Admission will be collected until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday, and until 6 PM on Sunday.

All paid park admission includes live entertainment and concerts scheduled on the festival stage.
