Kingsville Pumpkin Parade
November 1, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The 3rd annual Kingsville Pumpkin Parade hosted by the Kingsville’s Communities in Bloom Committee is one last night for your jack-o’-lantern to shine bright and takes place at Lakeside Park on November 1, 2020.
The fun does not need to end after the trick or treating is done!
Pumpkin Drop Off: Noon to 4pm
Pumpkin Parade: 6pm to 8pm
Bring your carved pumpkin to the park between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. and the volunteers will set it up along the path along with providing a battery operated tea light.
From 6 to 8 pm come and visit the park where the pumpkins will be aligned and provide lots of family fun. Social Distancing will be required.
Be one of the first 100 visitors to Sunday’s pumpkin parade, and you will receive a package of 5 Hope Tulip Bulbs to plant. These special bulbs were not for sale at a retail level, they were specially provided to Communities in Bloom Canada in recognition of 2020 and COVID 19. Plant your Hope Tulips this fall and send the Town of Kingsville or the Kingsville Communities in Bloom group a picture in the spring, to show everyone how Hope Springs Eternal.
Following the parade, the pumpkins will be donated to a local farm where they will be utilized for animal feed.
Additionally, uncarved pumpkins (or carved if you can’t get them to Lakeside for the parade) can be dropped off at Our Farm Organics: Cooperative and Family Learning Centre (284 County Rd 34, Ruthven, ON). Keep your pumpkins out of landfills so they can be turned into pig feed instead!
