Post Productions is thrilled to announce The Edele Winnie Women’s Monologue Competition, a new annual event that aims to give actresses from the Windsor-Essex region an opportunity to show audiences and theatre professionals the best of their acting talents – and win some cash in the process. Performances take place at The Shadowbox Theatre on March 4 & 5, 2022.

Each contestant will perform a brief (3-5 minute) monologue from award-winning playwright Edele Winnie’s new book of 100 original monologues, Big Mouth. They will perform each night to a panel of judges, each representing a different theatre company, as well as a live audience. Both judges and audience members will submit scores for all contestants. Winners will be determined based on the final scores tallied across both nights. Winners will be announced and cash prizes bestowed once performances have completed on the second night.
