Tall Tale Theatre Co. Building Blocks Fundraiser Poster

Tall Tale Theatre Co presents their 2nd Annual Building Blocks Fundraiser and dinner performance at Rockstar Music Hall on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

Enjoy three all new original plays by University of Windsor Alumni featuring “ADR” by Brian Taylor, “You’re Invited” by Aaron Hrastovec, and “Reloj, No Marque Las Horas” by Elena Reyes Sanchez.

ADR – by Brian Taylor
The voices you hear selling you things, the voices you hear conjuring other worlds, those voices coming out of thin air belong to people whose lives are every bit as messy as yours. ADR follows two of these people over the course of a year, as they create realities far different from their own, with humour, and sadness and compassion. Welcome to the recording studio.

You’re Invited – by Aaron Hrastovec
There are more than 19 million birthdays celebrated today and you’ve been invited to a very special one…

Reloj, No Marque Las Horas – by Elena Reyes Sanchez
Reloj, No Marque Las Horas is a solo physical theatre piece inspired by the traditional styles of Commedia Dell’arte. The story follows beloved stock character, Pantalone, on what seems to be a regular day that then turns into a meaningful journey of love and loss through the concept of time.

This is a licensed event, where you can enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a delicious buffet meal of roasted chicken, pasta with meat sauce, roasted potatoes, vegetable, salad, and bread – meal included with your ticket purchase.

Silent Auction featuring crafts, tickets, gift cards, and services provided by some of Windsor’s finest artisans, performances, and restaurants.

As Tall Tale Theatre Co. sets the building blocks for their ambitious theatre company, seize this opportunity to chat with members of the Tall Tale team to discover who they are, their upcoming projects and events, how they aim to enhance Windsor’s theatre community through paid work for artists and opportunities for education, as well as a taste for their style of high quality professional performances. All funds raised will be going directly toward running their future workshops, 2020 Commedia Noir Tour, Fall 2020 Production, and their brand new Newsletter!

Tickets are $35 in advance online or $40 at the door. Includes play performances and meal.

Online tickets can be purchased at https://rockstarvenue.com/tickets.php
