ACT Windsor Presents Wherever It Takes You | Social Justice Theatre Project
March 13 @ 7:30 pm - March 15 @ 3:30 pm
Arts Collective Theatre (ACT Windsor) presents Wherever It Takes You, part of their Social Justice Theatre Project, inside the Roth Theatre at Shō Studios on March 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 & 15, 2020.
An over-compensating husband, squabbling siblings deciding the fate of their mother, and a brother and sister trying to come to terms with their younger brother’s diagnosis of early onset dementia, form the three storylines of Arts Collective Theatre’s Wherever It Takes You.
From the creative team who brought you “Elder Affairs” and “In Flight”, this solemn and poignant play beautifully captures the emotional rollercoaster experienced by both those living with dementia and those who care for them.
ACT has assembled a cast of individuals, over the age of 50, who take the audience on a turbulent journey of love, anger, and acceptance.
There are approximately 560,000 Canadians currently living with dementia. If you haven’t been directly impacted by this disease, you likely will be within the next 15 years when the number is expected to rise to more than 900,000.
Wherever It Takes You is originally conceived and directed by Chris Rabideau, and written by Linda Lord.
March 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 7:30pm
March 8 and 15 at 2:00pm
Tickets are $15 for Students/Seniors, and $20 for Adults.
