Windsor Dance Experience’s Once Upon A Christmas Was Spectacular
Windsor Dance Experience put on a spectacular holiday musical dance production, Once Upon A Christmas, at The Capitol Theatre this past weekend.
Photographer Jose Ed Ramirez, on assignment for Eyes On Windsor, covered a special performance during a private show for school children the day before opening night and says, “The show was fantastic! All the kids cheered and were very happy. They really enjoyed the show.”
This spectacular show officially opened to the public on Friday, December 8th, with performances through December 10th.
This dance theatre production featured a collection of holiday favourites told through dance where a family brings their favourite stories to life through the magic of dance. Holiday Classics included: A Charlie Brown Christmas, Jack Frost, The Little Match Girl, Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer, The Nutcracker, Elves and the Shoemaker, Little Drummer Boy, The Grinch, Christmas Shoes, The Magic Toy Shop and The Gift of the Magic.
The vibrant costumes, brilliant lights and sets, festive music and 80 lively youth perform various styles of dance such as Pointe, Tap, Swing, Jazz, Hip Hop (and much more ) getting all into the Holiday Spirit!
