Caesars Windsor Reopening January 31 & Colosseum Show Schedule Updated

Caesars Entertainment today announced plans to resume operations at Caesars Windsor on Monday, January 31 at 9am under the new provincial guidelines, pending required approvals. Upon reopening, reservations will not be mandatory; however, all guests are required to show proof of vaccination, and residents of Ontario are required to show proof of vaccination with a QR Code.

The property will reopen at 50 percent of capacity with similar amenities prior to the most recent lockdown. This includes the gaming floor, table games, food and beverage outlets, and the Augustus hotel tower.

“We are happy to reopen Caesars Windsor and welcome back our guests,” said Kevin Laforet, President, Caesars Windsor. “As we reopen, the health and safety of our guests and employees remain our top priority. We are optimistic for the future and look forward to providing an exciting entertainment experience.”

The Colosseum will remain closed initially, with exciting headline entertainment announcements to be released in the near future.

Recently, due to mandatory capacity restrictions, and in accordance with health and safety recommendations, Shinedown has rescheduled their Canadian tour, including their February 23 show in The Colosseum.

The band released the following statement: “It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to postpone our upcoming dates to July of 2022. We are taking into consideration COVID mandates and restrictions to ensure the safety of all of our fans, and we look forward to bringing the show to all of you this summer. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured. Head to for a full list of tour dates. See you soon!”

The following Colosseum concert lineup has been updated:

“We have been working diligently with artist management to reschedule postponed shows in The Colosseum,” said Tim Trombley, Director of Entertainment, Caesars Windsor. “Providing updated rescheduled dates allows our guests the opportunity to plan these shows in their calendars.”

“We would like to thank our guests for their understanding and patience as we work through these challenging circumstances together,” said Trombley. “We continue to book headline entertainment in The Colosseum for spring and summer. Stay tuned for exciting announcement details in the coming weeks.”
