Jack’s Gastropub Kicks Off 25 Year Anniversary With A Throwback Menu

Jack's Gastropub & Inn 31To kickoff the first two days of Jack’s Gastropub’s 25 year anniversary celebration they are offering a throwback menu with some customer favourites from the years gone by on April 24-25 before continuing the celebration over the weekend and the following week during King’s EPIC Feast (Kingsville Restaurant Week).

From its humble beginnings on Pearl Street, to a hop over to Main Street, and a jump back to Division & Pearl, Jack’s has shared a number of locations and even a different name…

Did you know, the restaurant started as The Vintage Goose?

The Vintage Goose itself, evolved through several styles of cuisine & locations before finding its way to becoming today’s concept, the popular Jacks Gastropub.

Over the years, alongside the Vintage Goose Flagship, there were The Tin Goose Inn & Gooseberry’s Island Cuisine Restaurant on Pelee Island; The Piggery Gourmet Gift Shoppe; Vintage Treasures Antique Store; The Vintage Goose Inn, Aqua Spa & Jack Frost’s Ice Creamery all in Kingsville.

Recently they launched the BlackJack GastroVan, the area’s first Food Truck, and Banded Goose Brewing Company, Jack’s own in-house small batch craft brewing.

Appetizers

The Grilled Raspberry Chicken Caesar Salad (Vintage Goose)
Crisp Romain tossed in our Creamy Caesar Dressing topped with baked croutons, bacon, parmesan cheese and topped with Raspberry Sauteed Chicken 13

Blue Nose Mussels (Tin Goose Inn)
PEI Mussels steamed with Blueberries, green onion, celery hearts and white mushrooms, finished with a splash of Frangelico Liqueur, cream and toasted hazelnuts 13

Tecumseh Nachos (Vintage Goose)
Frito Corn Chips topped with ground beef, shredded Cheddar and Jack Cheese, Cheddar and Ale Cheese Sauce, diced Tomato, Sour Cream and Green Onions. 13

Entrees After 5pm

Pasta Blues (Tin Goose Inn)
Rigatoni pasta tossed in a rich Blue Cheese Cream Sauce with grilled Chicken breast, mushrooms and spring onions. Finished with crumbled blue cheese and cracked pepper. 20

Coquille de Ville (Vintage Goose)
Shrimp and Scallops grilled and set into a rich lemon-parmesan cream with mushrooms and scallion, served in a bed of Garlic Whipped Potato and backed with fresh parmesan cheese. Served with evening Vegetable. 24

New England Chicken (Vintage Goose)
Boneless Breast of chicken encrusted in a parmesan and cornflake breading, pan seared and baked, topped with mushrooms, leeks and a 3 cheese mornay sauce. Served with garlic smashed potato and evening vegetable 22
