Mettawas Station Mediterranean Restaurant offers one of Essex County’s most unique dining experiences. It was previously home to the Historic Kingsville Train Station. The station was built during the glory days of rail travel by Hiram Walker in the late 1800′s. The building’s external appearance was restored by the Essex Region Conservation Authority in the mid to late 1990′s. In 2008, Chef Anthony DelBrocco converted this beautiful landmark into Mettawas Station Mediterranean Restaurant in Kingsville Ontario.

The large outdoor patio overlooks the Chrysler Canada Greenway Trail making a nice alfresco dining experience. While inside customers can dine in a warm, friendly, and cozy atmosphere. The Mediterranean cuisine, with Italian being most prominent, is fantastically tasty.

The menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, panini, sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza pies, classic and specialty pastas, and excellent entrees. Gluten free pasta and pizza are available too.

The same savoury bread dip, vinaigrettes, jarred vegetables, and jellys made at Mettawas and used in the menu are available for purchase individually or in gift baskets. This is the perfect way to inject the flavours of Mettawas Station into your meals at home.

For a unique dining experience in a Romanesque and historic building made of field stone and large wood timber then Mettawas Station Mediterranean Restaurant in Kingsville is a perfect choice.
