What They Had
Thursday February 7th at 3:30PM & 8:10PM at the Capitol Theatre
Starring Hilary Swank and Blythe Danner
After her ailing mother wanders off during a blizzard, Bridget returns to her childhood home in Chicago, accompanied by her rebellious daughter. Forced to referee between her father’s stubborn insistence that his wife remains at home and her equally determined brother’s efforts to place her in a “memory care” facility, Bridget struggles to make sense of a lifetime of family conflict. With her mother’s decline becoming increasingly obvious, long-simmering resentments bubble to the surface.
The Sisters Brothers
Thursday February 7th at 5:50PM at the Capitol Theatre
Starring Joaquin Phoenix, John C. Reilly and Jake Gyllenhaal
It’s 1851, and Charlie and Eli Sisters are both brothers and assassins, boys grown to men in a savage and hostile world. The Sisters brothers find themselves on a journey through the Northwest, bringing them to the mountains of Oregon, a dangerous brothel in the small town of Mayfield, and eventually, the gold rush land of California — an adventure that tests the deadly family ties that bind.
Tickets are available for purchase at www.windsorfilmfestival.com/tickets/ by credit card, or by cash at the door one hour prior to the first film.
