Tea Party Black River Tour With Special Guests Autumn Kings at Caesars Windsor
April 18 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Multi-platinum selling Canadian rock band, The Tea Party, on their Black River Tour will stop to perform in front of a hometown crowd with special guests the Autumn Kings at Caesars Windsor on Thursday, April 18, 2018.
Presented by New Rock 89X and Caesars Windsor,
Black River, the first single from The Tea Party in four years, puts the band back on the map with an exclamation mark, being the most added track to Active and Mainstream Rock Radio when it was released in November 2018. The band plans to release new music in 2019, and to celebrate, they are going on their most extensive North American tour in years.
With a career spanning over 20 years and nine major-label releases, Windsor natives The Tea Party, composed of Jeff Martin, Jeff Burrows, and Stuart Chatwood, have successfully gained the attention of fans on a global level, selling over 1.8 million records worldwide. In addition, they have toured a countless number of times throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia. Much of the band’s success can be attributed to their phenomenal stage presence and impeccable artistry and musicianship with a wide variety of instruments and sound textures. Their biggest, award-winning hits include “Temptation,” “Heaven Coming Down” and “Save Me” just to name a few.
Opening for the band is special guest Autumn Kings, a Windsor based rock/pop band founded in 2015. Starting as teenagers, they have worked tirelessly to capture the attention of music fans and industry personnel alike – tremendous social media presence, genuine direct-to-fan interaction and unparalleled band chemistry. All of this plus a groundbreaking hometown buzz has led to the Detroit Red Wings’ endorsement of the band’s song “Devil in Disguise” and regular rotation on numerous FM radio stations, notably 89X Windsor/Detroit.
In a unique collaboration between The Tea Party and theatre venue, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Windsor Cancer Research Group (WCRG). An assembly of Windsor-Essex researchers, healthcare professionals and community partners, WCRG works together to build teams to strengthen our local cancer research programs and bridge collaborations with our neighbouring cancer centres.
Don’t miss your chance to see The Tea Party with Autumn Kings live!
Tickets start at $25 Canadian and go on sale at noon EST on Friday, December 21st.
