For the second year in a row Family Respite Services Windsor Essex in partnership with GoodLife Kids Foundation presents Spin4Kids Plus at GoodLife Fitness’ Dougall location on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
Thousands of Canadians across the nation, including some in Windsor, will simultaneously take part in the Spin4Kids Plus fitness fundraiser for a day of spinning, moving and grooving to help Windsor kids connect with physical activity.
Proceeds from this event will provide recreational programming for children with disabilities in Windsor/Essex County. This generous funding from GoodLife Kids Foundation ensures that children with disabilities have access to participate in sport, recreation, and physical activity in our community through programs including Super Saturdays. Children will enjoy activities including swimming, dance and gym time.
Super Saturdays was implemented in 2015 by Family Respite Services in partnership with St. Clair College after GoodLife Kids Foundation awarded them a grant of nearly ten thousand dollars. The program ensures that children with disabilities have something engaging planned for every Saturday afternoon, parents receive a much needed break and students at St. Clair College in related programs get hands on experience through this placement opportunity.
This funding is available in our community, thanks to fundraising efforts at the annual Spin4Kids fitness-fundraiser taking place Saturday, March 4 at GoodLife Fitness Windsor Dougall. FRS is inviting members of the community to join in and participate so that children with disabilities can engage in physical activity.
To participate join the Family Respite Services Spin4Kids Team or make a donation to support them by clicking here.

“We thank GoodLife Kids Foundation for their continued partnership since 2015. This funding ensures that children with disabilities have opportunities just like their peers.
