Open Streets Windsor Sandwich Street Dance Party
September 23 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Olde Sandwich Towne BIA hosts the Open Streets Windsor Sandwich Street Dance Party and Hidden Money in Old Sandwich Town on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
Open Streets is Back! And Sandwich Street has all the action! Plus they’ll be hiding Sandwich Bucks around town, find some and you can spend it at participating businesses in Olde Sandwich Towne!
From Dancers to Dog Shows, Open Streets Windsor’s Sandwich Hub will have you moving and grooving from Patterson Park to Brock Street.
Dancers and dance troupes from all over Southwestern Ontario will be showcasing their skills. By Sunday morning, DJs will line the street turning the area into a gigantic dance floor to celebrate all styles – House and EDM, Salsa, Belly Dancing and a special tribute to Aretha Franklin and the Motown sound. The legendary Ill at Will B-Boy crew will return to Windsor to battle a newly emerging dance group. For those with limited moves, live tutorials from noon-3PM will help Open Streeters let loose!
Trained or tiny dancer, everyone is encouraged to show up and show off!
Here’s more of what’s planned! :
+ Sausages and goodies at Olde Towne Bake Shoppe
