The Annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Town of Tecumseh Cenotaph takes place on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
Various military groups will gather at the Tecumseh Legion Branch 261 and begin marching to the Tecumseh Cenotaph at approximately 10:45am.
Members of the community will come together at the Town of Tecumseh Cenotaph to honour the men and women of the Canadian Military, past and present at the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony.
The ceremony will begin at 11 o’clock on Remembrance Day. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 10:45 a.m.
The Tecumseh Legion Branch 261 is located at 12326 Lanoue Street (across from St. Anne’s Church).
Town of Tecumseh Cenotaph is located at the corner of Lesperance Road & McNorton Street.
Each November 11, Canadians pay tribute to the sacrifices of those who have served their country in the military in times of war and peace. All are welcome to join in honouring their contributions to the freedoms we hold dear here in Tecumseh and across the country.
