Miracle in Sandwich is a family fun holiday celebration featuring activities and events in Windsor’s historic Old Sandwich Town neighbourhood on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

This magical holiday event includes Santa Claus, live entertainment, fun for kids, crafts for all ages, delicious food, story time with Santa, and more. The event will conclude with Christmas Tree Lighting and Choir Sing-Along at Mackenzie Hall with Sparky’s Toy Drive.

Be sure to bring your holiday wish list or make your own decorations for the tree lighting and witness the miracle of community coming together in the spirit of a Christmas.

The fun is presented by the Olde Sandwich Towne BIA & supporting community partners.

Event Schedule:

9 AM – 1 PM – Traditional Christmas Breakfast at Olde Towne Bake Shoppe

10 AM – 4 PM – Library Live! @ Sandwich – Chess/Lego Club, Storytime, Arts & Crafts, Costume & Theatre Play for ages 3-12.

NOON-2 PM – Lunch with Santa & Holiday Market at St. John’s Parish Hall – Sponsored by the Windsor Port Authority
Bring the kids to hand deliver your list to Santa himself!
Free to the community while food supplies last.

1 PM- 2 PM – Special Performance by the Coffee House Combo at St. John’s Church

1:30 PM, 2:30 PM & 3:30 PM – Guided Tours of Duff Baby Mansion
– *Tea Room entry by Donation*

2 PM – 4:30 PM – Holiday House Tours & Strolling Carollers:
Mackenzie Hall – featuring holiday crafts for all ages with the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority!
McGregor-Cowan House – sampling stew and homemade bread

5 PM – Christmas Tree Lighting and Choir Sing-Along at Mackenzie Hall with Sparky’s Toy Drive!

In the spirit of the holidays, please bring a toy donation, or hats and mittens to support the boys and girls who need our help to have a safe, happy and warm winter.
