The day of the event is dedicated to educating & raising awareness as to the importance of research and providing proper equipment for early detection and diagnosis of cancer.
To date, the event has raised over $750,000. These funds support equipment at the Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation, the Windsor Spitfire Foundation and the Sherron Hogan Memorial Scholarship Fund. In addition, funds from the tournament have also supported the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, the Higgins Lake Foundation and the Mason Macri Foundation.
