Jingle Bell Run, Walk and Wheel 2019

The 25th Annual Jingle Bell Run, Walk and Wheel, and Little Elf Run, along the streets of the Town of Essex starts and ends at Ken Knapp Ford on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
This festive event is fun for everyone from competitive runners to casual walkers and is open to all: individuals, families, sports teams, service clubs/organizations, co-workers and businesses. Participants will enjoy either a 5km or 2km walk/run, or a 10km run through the downtown of beautiful Essex, ON.
For the third year in a row, dress up in your best holiday costume on race day for the chance to win some great prizes.
The event will also feature a Little Elf Run for ages 6 years old and under and special rates for those under the age of 13. Children 6 and under who register will receive a free jingle bell wristband and a reindeer antler headband! Little Elf Run participants can also make an adorable jingle bell craft at the Kids Tent!
Medals will be presented to the top finisher in each age category. All participants in the 2K and 5K will also receive medals.
Please note there are no dogs allowed unless they are working service dogs. As well, no bicycles allowed (Wheelchairs ONLY).
Advance online registration is open until 4pm Tuesday, Nov 5th at Raceroster.com
Advance in person registration is open until 4pm, Monday, Nov 4th at Community Living Essex County located at 372 Talbot Street North in Essex, ON.
Participants can also register the morning of the event on Sunday, November 10t, between 8:15am to 9:45am.
Entry fee will be waived for those who collect a minimum amount in pledges per person (pledge form). The pledge form can be downloaded here.

The event, hosted by Ken Knapp Ford, has raised thousands of dollars for Community Living Essex County in support of over 750 people with intellectual disabilities in achieving their goals and dreams. The Jingle Bell Run, Walk & Wheel’s mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as to create awareness of people with intellectual disabilities.
