Dark Sky Night at Point Pelee National Park

Enjoy a spectacular view of the stars during Dark Sky Night at Point Pelee National Park on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
Point Pelee National Park is staying open until midnight so visitors can experience the most exhilarating stargazing experience in our region.
Explore the park on your own after dark and experience the dark skies of Point Pelee. You’ll have the opportunity to stay late and see what goes on after dark. Please note that there are no formal programs this evening. Visitor can pick up a seasonal star chart at the gate upon arrival.
Also, enjoy the guided Butterflies of the Night event and see a local expert attract some very colourful moths!
Point Pelee National Park is designated as a Dark Sky Preserve by the Windsor Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
Be sure to dress warm and bring your binoculars and telescopes.
These dates offer the darkest skies for optimum viewing.
