Now in it’s 9th year the Ride has raised just over $1 Million to support Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare’s creation of a second angioplasty suite, the new wellness exercise room used by their Cardiac Wellness patients and a satellite location that will make access to the exercise room easier for patients in the county.
Each year the ride is lead by a celebrity road captain the likes of Chris Chelios, Sheldon Kennedy, Jacqui MacInnis-Wood, Tony Amonte, Ryan VandenBussche, Darren McCarty, Dave Hutchison, WRIF Radio Personality Meltdown, and Scott Parker.
Probert tragically passed away while boating of a heart attack in 2010. He was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. Fans best remember him as The Enforcer #24 in the NHL.
