John R. Park Homestead’s Lost Arts Festival takes place on Sunday, August 11th from noon – 4pm, for a fun, family-friendly day of celebrating doing things the old fashioned way.
Enjoy live musical entertainment and 19th century re-enactments and demonstrations.
Watch or participate in the lost arts demonstrations from artists and crafts people which may include broom making, canoe paddle carving, glass blowing, metal smithing, needle and fibre arts, old fashion box camera picture taking, rope making, wine making at home, and learn about native plants and pollinators in the garden.
Enjoy pioneer-era games, activities and crafts for kids.
Admission: $6 adults, $4 children (3-16), Family Maximum $20.
