8th Annual 100 Inning Game

Riverside Minor Baseball Association hosts the 8th Annual 100 Inning Game featuring free family fun with proceeds benefiting Farrow Riverside Miracle Park on June 23, 2018.

The community is invited to enjoy a day of Free Family Fun! Join the crowd, watch some great baseball games and cheer on the RMBA Royals Travel, RMBA Select, Jr. Rookie and T-ball teams when they play on Saturday. This year, local pickle ball players will also participate by playing in the Riverside Sports Centre.

Enjoy a delicious BBQ and concession stand.

On Saturday morning, guests will enjoy fun with busker Sailor Sue & Rally the RMBA mascot, and free facepainting.

New this year a Classic Car Show & Outdoor Movie On The Diamond at Dusk events:

Farrow presents a Classic Car Show with live musical entertainment performed by Bad Moustache and Lights Sound Action. The Classic Car Show takes place from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on the future Miracle Park site, adjacent to Riverside Baseball Park. Proceeds from the Classic Car Show will benefit the Miracle Park.

Family Respite Services Windsor Essex and Best Buy present an Outdoor Movie On The Diamond at Dusk featuring a screening of Sandlot. Bring your towels, blankets & bug spray and enjoy a great movie under the stars at Riverside Baseball Park on Diamond 2. Family Respite Services will accept donations during the movie. Proceeds will help support Family Respite Services and ensure that children with disabilities can participate in recreation programs throughout the summer at local community centres.

Last year FRS was selected as the beneficiary of the 100 Inning Game. “We wanted to continue to our partnership with FRS and we agreed that it made sense for the bulk of the funds to go to the Miracle Park this year as it will benefit many FRS clients,” states Cindy Nantais, Myles mom and Riverside Baseball 100 Inning Game Organizer.

Myles Jeun Throws The First Pitch During Opening Ceremonies

Myles Jeun throws the first pitch every year during opening ceremonies to kick off the 100 Inning Game. See Myles throw at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Myles is in the RMBA House League program and attends the Family Respite Services Saturday recreation program. Myles’ family relies on respite, so that Myles has opportunities just like his peers.

Players collected pledges which will benefit the Farrow Riverside Miracle Park, a redevelopment of the former Riverside Arena site into a dynamic community space with a Miracle Diamond, an inclusive and accessible playground, a prominently relocated Cenotaph, a walking path and public gathering space.

Farrow Riverside Miracle Park Design To Be Revealed

The Farrow Riverside Miracle Park has selected Mark Jones and New World Park Solution Inc (Playworld Ontario) to design, supply and install the accessible and inclusive playground. The playground design will be unveiled at the 100 Inning Game.
