Essex County Wineries Win 22 Medals at All Canadian Wine Championships 2015

Several Essex County Wineries, along with fellow Chatham EPIC member, have won medals at this year’s 35th edition of the All Canadian Wine Championships recently held in Prince Edward County, Ontario in mid May 2015.

In total 237 wineries from across the country competed in Canada’s oldest wine competition hosted by The Canadian Wine Trail. A record number of 1356 entries from wineries, meaderies and cideries were critiqued by a panel of 19 accomplished judges over three full days.

The final medal tally for wineries from the Essex County / Chatham-Kent area was 8 Gold, 8 Silver, and 6 bronze for a total of 22 from 10 different wineries.
