House of Sophrosyne presented their annual International Women’s Day Concert with an incredible lineup of female musicians at RockStar Music Hall on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
The audience enjoyed incredible live performances by Sarah Smith, Crissi Cochrane, Twisted Sisters (Liz Robinson and Stephanie Baker), The Van Lares, The Universe Featuring Ray, Moon Boots, Madelyn Stein and Krisalyn Bell all in celebration of International Women’s Day.
All proceeds from the event are being donated to the House of Sophrosyne “Building for Recovery” campaign and to help programs that strive to empower women and their families by providing he tools and support to help eliminate substance abuse from their daily lives.
Working quietly and humbly behind the scenes, and deserving credit for organizing this event each year, was Gary Demmans. He also plays a big role in organizing related events throughout the year including the annual 24 Hour Drum Marathon with Jeff Burrows.
