Some of the biggest names in music and entertainment, which include Pitbull, Blink-182, Sarah McLachlan, and Reba McEntire, will take The Colosseum stage as part of Caesars Windsor 10 Year Anniversary Concert Series. Additional acts include Russell Peters, Cole Swindell, Bryan Adams, Disturbed, Barry Manilow, and Trevor Noah, with more to be announced. The lineup was revealed during a press conference and rare backstage tour held for news media on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

Legendary musician, the “Piano Man” himself, Billy Joel was the first act to christen The Colosseum stage on his baby grand piano back in June of 2008. “We hosted one of the largest parties that the City of Windsor has ever saw, Billy Joel was right here on the stage rockin’ the house and opening The Colosseum,” said Kevin Laforet, Regional President, Caesars Entertainment.
Since then and moving forward the Caesars brand remains committed to bringing an exceptional experience to their guests. Kevin said, “We pride ourselves on how we continue to meet and exceed our guests’ brand expectations over the years not only in entertainment, but in every aspect of our business.” In fact, “Pollstar which is an international magazine ranking theatre venues has had us ranked in the top 25 for years and this year we are ranked number one in Canada.”
In the past decade over 600 shows have been performed thrilling over 2.3 million music and entertainment enthusiasts. “Since opening in 2008, The Colosseum has hosted an impressive and diverse line-up of sold out shows featuring the biggest names in country, hard rock, classic rock, contemporary and comedy beginning with the legendary Billy Joel and including Kevin Hart, Celine Dion, Maroon 5, The Tragically Hip, Diana Ross, Santana and Journey just to name a few,” said Mary Riley, Vice President of Marketing at Caesars Windsor.
The first show to be announced earlier as part of the 10 Year Anniversary Concert Series, set for July 3, was iconic Canadian rocker Bryan Adams. Tickets sold out in one day making it the fastest sell out show in The Colosseum’s history. Tim Trombley, Director of Entertainment at Caesars Windsor said, “The Adams show is one that I am personally really excited for, I spoke to his manager last week and it’s going to be one hit after another. It is a greatest hits show.”
Bryan Adams was one of the performers to send a video message, played during the press conference, congratulating Caesars Windsor on their ten year anniversary. “Hi this is Bryan Adams, I want to wish Caesars Windsor a happy 10th anniversary and I’ll see you all on July 3,” Adams said in the message. Cole Swindell, Reba McEntire, and Russell Peters (from his hotel bathroom in Hong Kong) also sent in video messages.
“Throughout this celebration year we will be announcing even more A-List image level entertainment. Including a current chart topping duo we will be announcing in the next couple of weeks,” explained Tim Trombley. “There’s some other big acts to be announced a little bit later into the summer and into the fall.”
A special public ticket pre-sale date for most of the shows takes place on March 28 at noon when using code “CELEBRATE” The Caesars Windsor Facebook page and Twitter feed will announce codes that can be used even earlier that day to purchase tickets.
