The Inaugural Walkerville Night Market ends a successful fun and well attended season on Friday, September 26, 2014. The season opened in Windsor’s historic Walkerville Neighborhood on Friday, May 31. On the last Friday of each month the community gathers in the popular, The Willistead Restaurant parking lot for this community market. The fifth and final Walkerville Night Market promises to be another fantastic evening promoting the hip and historic Walkerville neighbourhood, bringing people together to enjoy local business, musicians and artists.
The Friday Night Lights, Free Bike Ride organized Windsor Eats will once again start off at the Walkerville Night Market. This time the bike tour will cross the city travelling along Windsor’s waterfront. The ride will stop at Windsor’s Sculpture Garden where participants can enjoy Windsor’s newest two day festival, W.A.V.E.S. Windsor’s Artists, Visions, Energies and Sculptures (w.a.v.e.s.) is hosted by the City of Windsor’s Cultural Affairs Department in partnership with the Arts Council of Windsor & Region, WEtech Alliance, Hackforge Windsor, Harvesting the FAM, The Art Gallery of Windsor and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island, the festival will showcase local and visiting artists who will present their innovative wave-length creations from 4 p.m.to 11 p.m. each day.
Before heading out for the Friday Night Lights tour participants will enjoy shopping and exploring local at The Walkerville Night Market.
The Walkerville Night Market features meals prepared by The Willistead Restaurant with outdoor tables and chairs for guests to relax and enjoy their food. The market will showcase local live music. In addition, The Willistead Restaurant parking lot is licensed so guests can enjoy an alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage as they shop in the market.

The final Walkerville Night Market takes place from 4-10 p.m. on Friday September 26,2014.
