The 4th Annual Trot With The Troops took place in Windsor on September 20, 2014. The event is a 5 km, 10 km walk/run for all ages and a 1 km children’s dash. The event took place while members of the Essex and Kent Scottish Regimen conducted their annual battle fitness test. During the event soldiers ran the course in full military gear while civilians ran and walked the course along side them.

The course began at the Tilston Armoury located at 4007 Sandwich Street, continued past the Vietnam War Memorial, Crimean War Cannon, Sandwich World War I Cenotaph, and back to Sandwich Street to the Major F.A. Tilston V.C. Armoury and Police Training Centre.

Afterwards the public enjoyed a tour and displays at the Armouries, live music performed by The Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment Pipes and Drums band, and meeting the soliders.

Trot With The Troops is the annual fundraising event organized by Delta Company, the civilian branch of the Essex and Kent Scottish Regimen. Proceeds benefit The Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment Association and the London Military Families Resource Centre (Windsor).
