The second annual Artilicious, a showcase of local art and local food took place at Caesars Windsor in support of the Kidney Foundation of Canada on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
Artilicious is a re-branding of the Kidney Foundation of Canada Windsor and District Chapter’s popular annual Pasta & Pizza Fest.
Guests enjoyed a night of sampling delicious foods and desserts from area restaurants, bakeries, and hospitality businesses while browsing and purchasing the works of Windsor Essex area artists.
The night included a silent auction and the popular noodle raffle with over one hundred prizes donated by generous businesses in the community.
This year’s event was sponsored by Caesars Windsor, Infinity-Nissan of Windsor, Riverview Steel, AM 800 CKLW, Eyes on Windsor, Biz X magazine, Windsor Police Services, Unifor Local 444 and McCafe.
Proceeds will benefit the Kidney Foundation of Canada. The Kidney Foundation of Canada is people working together for a common cause. Volunteers, individuals living with kidney disease, donors, and staff members — from all walks of life, all across Canada.
Since its creation in 1964, The Kidney Foundation has helped millions of Canadians suffering from kidney failure and related disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, urinary tract infections and kidney stones.
